The Eye of Providence Story:
The Eye of Providence is an Illuminati inspired wooden art piece. The intricate design features the all-seeing Eye of Providence nestled within a triangle, surrounded by curling tentacles resulting in a mesmerizing work of art. The vibrant colours and a natural looking wood stain bring the design to life and make this an eye-popping piece!
The Eye of Providence
Also known as the Eye of God, is a symbol that has been used for centuries to represent divine guidance, providence, and protection. The origins of the symbol can be traced back to ancient Egyptian, Greek, and Roman mythology, where the eye was associated with the gods who were believed to be watching over the world and its inhabitants.
In Christianity, the Eye of Providence has come to symbolize the idea that God is watching over humanity and providing guidance and protection. The symbol was widely used during the Renaissance, when artists and architects incorporated it into their works as a symbol of the divine presence. It was also used by the Freemasons in the 18th and 19th centuries, who saw it as a symbol of the ultimate power and wisdom of the universe.
In modern times, the Eye of Providence is often used to represent the idea of surveillance or control. It has become a popular symbol in popular culture, appearing on currency, in movies, and on various forms of merchandise. Despite its different interpretations, the Eye of Providence remains a powerful symbol that is recognized around the world and continues to evoke feelings of mystery, wonder, and awe.
Creating the Eye of Providence
I created Eye of Providence in Auckland, starting with a digital illustration, then bringing the illustration into my CNC Program where I design the cutting paths. From the paths I generate the g-code or CNC cutting code ready for the carving process. The material is loaded on the CNC machine and the piece is carved in around an hour. The carved art piece is then inspected, sanded, coloured, varnished and finally a hanging wire installed.
As you can see to create this sculpted piece there are many processes involved making it a truly special and bespoke item.
Packaging:
The item will be packaged with bubble wrapping inside a cardboard outer box.
Delivery:
The item will be couriered to your chosen destination. Courier and Shipping times TBC
